Mel McNally

Mel is the founder of the Irish Pub Company and is the creator of the Guinness Irish Pub Concept.

In 1990, Mel, in partnership with Guinness Brewing Worldwide, developed the Irish Pub Concept that forms the basis of Irish Pub design throughout the world today. He is a fellow of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland.

Mel crafts an impressive union between arts and crafts and formal architecture and design. He built his companies on a reputation for re-defining venues and enhancing consumer experiences.

Mel was one of the first in Ireland to provide a full turnkey service to a varied domestic and international client portfolio. He pioneered a multi-discipline practice of architecture, interior architecture, brand creation, trend consultancy and concept creation. He is entrepreneurial in his ambition for international growth of Irish architecture and design having created offices in Dublin, the USA and throughout the Middle East.
