This Irish pub is deeply personal, reflecting the history and life of its owner. Every detail, from its design to its layout, tells a story—both subtly and overtly. The venue offers a mix of social spaces, from intimate tables to a long, centrally visible bar that enhances the lively atmosphere.

Guests enter through handcrafted doors into an authentic Irish setting, complete with a welcoming meet-and-greet area. Inside, seating options range from window-side benches to flexible gathering tables, ensuring a warm and inviting experience for all. There is even a boat seat in this pub in reference to the Galway Hooker boats of the West.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Darren Fagan and the Irish pub Company while designing and building my pub in San Rafael, California called The Burren House.

I gave Darren the name of the pub and told him some features that I wanted inside and they created a story with their design that went well beyond my expectations.

The quality of the millwork and furnishing are top notch and I very pleased with the final product.
