Designed and built in 1992 by the Irish Pub Company the Kilkenny Irish Pub in Berlin in the largest and liveliest of Berlins Irish Pubs.

This magnificent brewery style pub has been voted “Guinness Irish Pub of the Year” three times and promises an unforgettable authentic Irish experience.

The pub comprises of three arched rooms under the railway and an outdoor area to the front. A truely magnificent authentic Irish Pub in Germany.

The Design

The Irish Pub Company set about creating an Irish Pub concept that would stand out from the competition in Berlin and throughout Germany.

Designed over three rooms within the Hackescher Markt S-Bahn station, the Kilkenny Irish Pub expresses three different Irish Pub styles, representing different eras of the Irish history and culture.

Creating a Destination in Berlin

The pub features a magnificent handcrafted dark wood Victorian style bar which is complemented by a stunning copper keeve bar feature.

Traditional Irish Pub furniture, specialist paintwork, bric a brac, custom made flooring and handcrafted millwork throughout make this Irish Pub design a deserving Guinness Irish Pub of the Year winner.
