KRONENDAL 1713
Kronendal 1713 is a historic hospitality venue located in Hout Bay, Cape Town, South Africa – housed in a building dating back to the early 18th century.
Working with this repeat client, this time we travelled to South Africa to visit this beautiful listed building to see how we could take the best of the building and integrate it into a strong design concept that would complement the building and make business sense!
Designed in Ireland, manufactured in Ireland and shipped to Hout Bay for installatation this venue is a true international effort.
What we achieved is a beautiful venue with history weaved throughout. A bustling bar, private snugs, rooms full of amtopshere and history.
Our concepts are not just bars — we create atmosphere, warmth, storytelling, and a sense of belonging. We design spaces that invite conversation, music, and memories. More than a bar. It’s a feeling.

Our team at the Irish Pub Company is no stranger to the African continent having worked in the region in recent years.
One such notable project is Lagos Irish Pub in the Eko Hotel, another beautiful traditional Irish bar concept designed and manufactured by our team in Ireland and then installed on site by our fit out crew!
Irish Pub Company Process to Creating an Irish Pub:
STEP 1: Concept Design with layout plans, perspective sketch, mood images and budget for manufacture and supply by our team.
STEP 2: Detailed Design for our manufacture team is done alongside manufacture and sourcing of materials.
STEP 3: We pack all items into a shipping container and ship it to site where we travel to meet the container and install the pub!
